Wonderful stay with Max and Deb

Max and Deb are truly some of the most kind and genuine people you will ever meet! We had a wonderful stay in their incredibly spacious and breathtaking home. We feel very fortunate to have been able to be their first guests! From the wonderful welcoming glass of wine on the patio with the pair the first evening, to the absolutely delicious breakfasts, we truly were blown away by their hospitality! Not to mention, as my partner is Celiac, Deb was so sweet to bake us fresh gluten free granola, muffins, and scones. They are absolutely delicious! Additionally, Deb is very knowledgeable about wine and had great recommendations for where to do wine tastings while staying in Naramata. Our highlights of the trip were being able to enjoy the beautiful patios for enjoying the lake and stargazing at night! Having the opportunity to sit and chat with Max and Deb while enjoying a lovely glass of wine was so wonderful. Lastly their little dog “Leroy” was an absolute delight, who fully stole our hearts. He is full of personality and is as cute as can be! Needless to say, visiting Max and Deb at Burnt Grass Vineyards will most definitely be a yearly trip for us now! Thank you so much Max and Deb for welcoming us into your wonderful home! We truly cannot express how much we loved our stay!

Perfect Okanagan getaway!

We had an amazing experience staying at Max and Deb's in beautiful Naramata. First of all, their house is simply gorgeous and in a perfect location surrounded by wineries. The view of the Okanagan lake and the Naramata region is to die for. The way the house is set up shows how much Max and Deb value the privacy of their guests: private separate entrance, private deck. Max and Deb were extremely warm and welcoming and even drove us all the way to Chute lake so we could ride the KVR trail on bikes. Last but not least, Deb's baking is DE-LI-CIOUS! Best breakfast ever. I could not recommend this place more. We really enjoyed getting to know both of them. 5 stars experience, we will be back for sure!

Great B&B

Great location very close, walking distance from many wineries in Naramata. Very modern and beautifully designed house. Deb and Max will make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Great people to have conversations with and drink delicious wine. Highly recommended it!

A great place to stay in Naramata

We would definitely stay here again. The hosts are extremely friendly and caring and will go above and beyond to make you stay as comfortable as possible. Their home is beautiful and has great views of the lake. Rooms have private entrances with a shared patio, along with a lower patio in the yard with a fire pit. Max and Deb are great for recommendations of wineries and activities, and will even drive you to chute lake if you want to go for a relaxing bike ride down the trail back to the property. Highly recommend.

The drive to Naramata was quite a beautiful one. Upon arriving to the residence, the amount of excitement we had started to set in rather quickly. Max and Deb have an amazing home that they built from the ground up, from the smallest details. They've put a lot of work into their home and their vineyard. Everything is so clean, thought out, well put together, and inviting.

We made the trip to stay at their beautiful home for our 5 year anniversary. I also had planned to propose to my girlfriend on this trip. They quickly came up with a bunch of ideas of places to go visit, wineries to try, and great food to eat. We quickly grew to love Max and Deb, which we now can gladly call our family. After a successful proposal in the evening, we had a celebratory morning glass of bubbly with them. I could not thank them enough for such a wonderful stay!

We had many great conversations and meals together. There is nothing more amazing than waking up to some coffee with a large breakfast spread. Enjoying the view of the lake from the dining table or patio. I can't say much more about the views, other than you really need to see it for yourself! There are so many patios and places to lounge around! Dinner also was another spectacle to be had. Max and Deb are quite the chef/baker.. oh the food was so amazing that I could keep going on for days raving about it.

It's hard to really put into words about how great Max and Deb are. They are honestly the most amazing people I have been blessed to meet and hope to see them again real soon! If you're also lucky, you'll get to meet the neighbours too! Everyone living up in naramata are good people and know how to have a great time!

Great wine, great views, great company and an unforgettable stay. To put it short and sweet.

Modern but cosy house with lakeview and vineyards. This house has many terraces and is at a quiet space in the middle of other vineyards. Max and Deb are very passionate about the breakfast! Many self made bread, muffins.. and always a painting or constructions with fresh fruit. Go for a winery tasting tour or let Max you drive upon the hill and come down by mountain bikes softly following an old train track!

(Translated by Google) The reception alone was worth 5 stars. Sitting on the terrace with wine and cheese we were introduced to Deb and Max. The house in the middle of the vineyard is beautiful. The view of the Okanagan Lake is very nice. The room is all right. The breakfast with lots of fruit and homemade bread was fantastic. But it was especially the warmth and humor of Max and Deb that made the stay so relaxed and relaxing. We were pleased with the tour of the vineyard. And also with the service of Max who brought us all the way and picked us up again for the bike ride on an old railway track that ended in Penticton. In short, a recommended place with an unforgettable experience. Thanks Deb and Max. Gerrie and Wim

(Translated by Google) Wow experience. Extensive breakfast with many homemade dishes and paintings of fruit. Very passionate people are happy to help you with restaurant choice and trips. Wine tour together. Max takes you up the mountain so that you can quietly descend on mountain bikes along an old train route. Deb makes paintings with wood. Beautifully situated on the lake and in the middle of the vineyards.
